    What happens to my security system during a power outage?
    The ADT Base and the security kit's sensors include features that help ensure operation for several hours during a power outage. If your Wi-Fi goes down or there’s a power outage, Google Nest cameras and doorbells will automatically store up to one hour of recorded events in its local memory. You will also receive notifications upon loss and restoration. When things are up and running again, you’ll be able to see exactly what happened. And, the ADT Base features cellular backup to ensure communication with ADT Monitoring Centers are not interrupted during power outages — no landline needed!
    How do smoke and carbon monoxide detectors integrate into my security system?
    Connecting these essential life safety sensors with your ADT security system enhances the intelligent capabilities of the smart home system. If a fire or dangerous gas is detected, the smoke detectors and fire alarms will alert you by sound, light, voice and ADT+ app notification - even if you're away.
